An occasional helper normally helps out on trips, with activities and sometimes at meetings, but only when they are available and have the time to spare. Occasional helpers do not have to have children within the scout section- anyone is welcome to volunteer their time.

Description:

This is the easiest way to help your local scout group without having to commit your self to a regular day and time.

Agreed responsibilities with the Group Scout Leader and other members of the Leadership Team.

Hours:

Flexible - Occasional when it suits you from once a month to once a term.

Skills:

Works well with young people. All necessary training will be provided

Anything from astronomy to sailing and hill walking to cooking or a job anything from nurse to ornithologist and police officer to farmer.
