The Beavers have been working towards this badge by playing games where the Leaders restricted the Beavers ability to see (blacken goggles) or restricted movement ( sitting on a chair). The Beavers learnt how to spell their name using the British Sign Language. The Beavers also talked and thought about what is meant by a disability and that it is not always obvious that someone has a disability. We hope that by taking part in something where the Beaver’s normal senses are restricted it might make them more aware of other people’s problems at leading what to the Beaver is an unrestricted life.
